Christmas Store Committee

Volunteers may sign up for this Committee at Back to School Night. Volunteers are needed for store set-up and for tear-down following the last shopping period. Volunteers are also needed to assist students with shopping during their scheduled times. Volunteers are encouraged to help for longer periods of time than just when your child is shopping; help is especially needed when younger students are visiting the store.
This year the store will be held on December 9th-11th, 2026. Set up will be the evening of December 8th.
Cookies & Cocoa Committee

This event is for students in 1st through 3rd grades and will be held December 18, 2026. Volunteers will be asked to sign up on a link that will be sent home via letter to these classes in early December. Volunteers are needed to make the cocoa, help with set-up and tear-down and to assist in serving cookies to the students. Parents of 1st through 3rd graders will be asked to provide the cookie donations for this event.

This event is for Grades 1-7, and will be held on June 1, 2027. Volunteers will be asked to sign up via School Messenger for either half day or full day shifts, and will be asked to run stations at Field Day.
Ice Cream Social Committee

Volunteers can sign up to help at both the fall social on Friday, September 11,2026 , and with spring social TBD, via a link sent through School Messenger prior to each Ice Cream Social. Volunteers are needed for set-up and tear-down, to scoop ice cream, or to work at the water and pretzel table.
Middle School Halloween Dance Committee
Chair Needed
The Middle School Dance is for 6th, 7th & 8th grades – SCLS STUDENTS ONLY. Volunteers will be asked to serve as chaperones for the dance via School Messenger and a letter sent home. Volunteers will also be requested to assist in set-up and decorating for the dance. The dance will be held October 30, 2026 from 6-8:30pm
8th Grade Semi- Formal Committee

7th grade parent volunteers will be asked to sign up at Back to School Night to “pay it forward” and help with the planning of 8th grade class T-shirts, the semi-formal dance and “Fun Day” on the last day of school for 8th graders.
Used Uniform Sale Committee

Volunteers can sign up at Back to School Night to assist the chair during sale days 3 times a year.
Yearbook Committee
Chair Needed
No volunteers are needed, however ALL parents are asked to send pictures from class parties, field trips, classroom or school-wide special events or from sporting events to the chair to be used for the 2026-27yearbook.

Parents are asked to plan and execute 2 Parent’s Night Outs a year. One will be in December and one will be in April. We will utilize student volunteers from Bishop McDevitt High School to help with the babysitting.
