Diocese of Harrisburg Announces COVID Mitigation Changes

The Diocese of Harrisburg has announced changes in the COVID mitigation practices.

If you are fully vaccinated, you may attend Mass without a mask.

“Fully vaccinated” is two weeks after the reception of the second Pfizer or Moderna Vaccine or two weeks after the single Johnson and Johnson Vaccine. People who do not meet those requirements are not considered fully vaccinated, and must keep taking all precautions.

If you are not fully vaccinated, please continue to wear a mask.

We will continue to practice social distancing and other COVID mitigation until Memorial Day, as announced by the Commonwealth of PA.

Weekday Mass Schedule Update

A Message from Father Lease

Beginning on Monday, August 24, we will offer daily Mass at 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday.  With the return of school, I would like to provide Mass for those who must be off to school or work; hence, the 6:30 a.m. time. Due to the sanitization requirements (we have to clean the whole church after each Mass or service); I would like to avoid overloading our hardworking maintenance staff by not scheduling additional services at this time.

The 8:30 AM Friday Mass will be for the School only, and will not be open to the public; this is to keep everyone safe and healthy. We have ordered sanitization equipment that should cut down on the cleaning time; after it arrives and after we see how school is going, I will consider adding mid-morning weekday Masses. Just a reminder: face masks must be worn at all times while in the building.  – Fr. Lease

2020-2021 Parish Pastoral Council Election

Parish Pastoral Councils are an invaluable asset to pastors in providing leadership for the overall life of the parish.   The Parish Pastoral Council is a community of service.  The first and main goal of the Parish Pastoral Council is parish renewal through evangelization.   This weekend we are conducting our annual election of new members to serve in this important role on our Parish Pastoral Council.  All parishioners who are 18 years of age and older are asked to vote using the ballot found in the pews.  Vote Today!
