Vision

We the members of Saint Catherine Labouré envision a Catholic community rooted in the faith of the Gospel:

  • meeting and encouraging people where they are on their faith journey
  • connecting to each other and to our neighbors
  • spreading the Gospel as living witnesses of Christ

Saint Catherine Labouré is a  Catholic   community engaging all children of God to live a life in Jesus Christ.

As Christ’s followers, we are to share the living word of God to all and be transformed in the power of His love.

The gift of holiness is to identify oneself as belonging to Jesus Christ and to recognize Christ’s presence in every person.

To create an engaging, caring and supportive community so that each parishioner feels passionate about participating in parish ministries and activities, and growing in their faith.

Goals

  1. By December 31, 2026, more people feel welcomed and accepted as measured by the percentage of parishioners that  respond         strongly agree to the Disciple Maker Index question “my parish makes me feel  welcome” increasing from 28% to 50%.
  2. Work with existing ministries and small groups  to increase active participation and membership 10% by January 31, 2026.

To increase parishioners’ knowledge of the Gospel of Christ so that they would develop a closer relationship with God and be comfortable speaking about their faith.

Goals

  1. By June 30, 2026, increase the percentage of  parishioners that have participated in a Bible study from 42% to 60%.
  2. Increase parishioner knowledge of the faith so that 75% agree or strongly agree (on the Disciple Maker Index) that they can answer someone’s question about a church teaching by December 31, 2026.

To spread the Gospel within our communities  as living examples of Christ so that we make disciples of all.

Goals

  1. By December 31, 50% of the Disciple Maker Index survey respondents will invite someone to Mass at least quarterly.
  2. By December 31, 2026, 50% of the respondents to the Disciple Maker Index survey will invite someone to a community or parish event at least quarterly.
