There are many opportunities for musicians to share their talents and skills with our parish:

p_0004Cantors/Psalmists/SongLeaders: Just as being a lector involves more than just reading the text, the role of the cantor involves more than just singing the music. These liturgical ministers are familiar with the scripture and use their musical abilities to bring the words of the psalms and the hymns to life. Cantors receive training and rehearse before Mass. It is helpful if the cantor can read basic music, but not necessary.

shrine choirShrine Choir: The Shrine Choir leads the music at the 11:30 a.m. Mass from September through June. Children’s Choir: The Children’s Choir leads the music at the 9:30 a.m. Mass from September through May.
