Saint Catherine Labouré Church, because of its location in Harrisburg, the capital city of Pennsylvania, the closeness of several major tourist attractions and the proximity of the major cities of Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C., receives a great number of visitors throughout the year from around the country and around the world. In addition, we are a nationally recognized shrine of the Miraculous Medal and an important example of the work of Glassmaster, Gabriel Louire, and so, we are a stop on many religious tours itineraries.
Hospitality is vital to the parish to receive and welcome these visitors, as well as those from other parishes and denominations. There is always a friendly face and warm smile waiting to greet our guests at every Mass.
The ushers at the Masses also help to guide people to available seating and offer assistance whenever it is needed.
Warm, friendly smiles are always welcome at our door. If you wish to become part of this important minstry, please contact Joreen Kelly: firstname.lastname@example.org or call the Parish Office: 717.564.1321.
