Catherine’s Cupboard Personal Care Item Collection
October 10 & 11, 2020
We will once again collect non-perishable food and personal care items for our emergency pantry shared with the Catholic Worker House on Market Street. Throughout the pandemic, the Catholic Worker House continued to provide for the basic needs of their neighbors—the poor and homeless—in the Allison Hill section of Harrisburg. Their volunteer staff remains committed to providing services in a dignified and judicious way.
Items most in need include:
- men’s boxer or brief underwear (large and x-large)
- men’s t-shirts (large and x-large, any color)
- men’s socks
- bath towels and washcloths
- knit hats
- hoodies (large and x-large)
Needed personal care items include:
- bars of soap
- men’s deodorant
- toilet paper
A rack will be available in the narthex on which donated items may be placed. Due to lack of storage, please refrain from bringing items until October 10/11.
Thank you for your continued generosity to our neighbors.
