Saint Catherine Labouré School offers Learning Support for students in grades K-8, in addition to Remedial Services provided by Capital Area Intermediate Unit.

Students are granted admittance to the Learning Support Program in the Labouré Room after a recommendation by the Student Support Team, combined with qualifying results from a Full Psychological Evaluation or a diagnosis from a medical professional.

Students who receive support in the Learning Support Room are usually assessed in the Labouré Room, as it provides a less distracting and more supportive environment.  The Learning Support teacher may also coordinate support services with other specialists, such as Guidance Counselors, Speech Therapists, etc.  All of this is done to ensure that the support given to each student is indeed helping that student reach his/her full potential.
